Liverpool Spring 10k 2015 - Sunday 3rd May
The 2015 Liverpool Spring 10k will take place on Bank Holiday Weekend, Sunday 3rd May at Sefton Park (10:30am start). You are welcome to take part whatever your ability. Last year lots of people took part who had never done a race before. This year we're hoping for even more newbies. In 2015 there will be more bands, more face painting, more bunting and more balloons given out! It costs £20 to enter the race. If you would like to get your place now please click here.
Will I get a t-shirt?
All runners will get a quality technical t-shirt, a bespoke shiny medal and a goody bag after the race. There will also be free post-race massages available, free face paints for the kids and lots of helium balloons given away. The race is chip timed and has a UKA license. There is lots of entertainment around the course and a very enthusiastic commentator at the start and finish line (likely to lose his voice towards the end)!
Kids 1k Dash
The 1k dash is for kids aged 14 and under. Adults are welcome to accompany any child and do not have to register. The race will take place as soon as the Spring 10k has finished (around 12:15pm). It costs £5 to enter (no booking fee) and all kids get a colourful medal and some bubbles! Entries open at 9pm on Sunday 8th March and are limited to 300 places. What is the route like?
Fast and flat! Last year loads of people got a pb. Out of the top 20 finishers 10 got a pb. Please click here to have a look at the course.
Will there be any entertainment?
There is lots of entertainment along the route which will help to create a fantastic atmosphere. Wirral Samba Band will be one of several bands - they're looking forward to drumming to keep you running!
